Press Freedom Night

Free Press Unlimited presents: Uploads from a burning street

From 20.00

In a conflict the free press is often one of the first victims, and propagenda is used to manipulate our view of reality. How do citizens in conflict situations obtain their information, and how do we give them a voice? On Friday May 2 Free Press Unlimited organises Press Freedom Night. This evening will be about the role of local (citizen) journalism in conflict zones.

On May 2, the night before world press freedom day, we investigate with various guests if and how citizens, helped by technological solutions, can make the difference when it comes to the reporting on the situation in conflict zones.
